The universe of science and materials technology has been revolutionized with the development of materials at nanoscale, which contribute to the improvement of material properties and development of new materials, such as non-woven recycled polyethylene terephthalate nanofiber. In this case the polymeric processing can help to preserve the environment and contribute to sustainable development. The non-woven recycled polyethylene terephthalate nanofiber mats were prepared by electrospinning technology and were characterized for basic understanding of the polymeric process, comparing the properties of polymer before and post processing. The nanofibers produced were characterized as their morphological, physical and chemical aspects and contact angle. Based on these interesting results it can conclude that PET polymer reprocessing by electrospinning process can be an alternative to development a friendly environment.
