In the present work, w/o-microemulsions were employed to produce nanoparticles of perovskite Ca0.5 Sr0.5 MnO3. The reaction inside the microemulsion droplets was achieved by addition of sodium hydroxide as co-precipitation agent. Afterward the precursor of perovskite, which has a size of approximately 20 nm, was transformed to Perovskite by calcination. Nanosize particles were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and N2 adsorption (BET).
