Rediscovering The Unlimited Energy Efficiency Potential Of Buildings Abstract: Buildings in Commercial and Industrial sector are the largest consumers of energy in the developed world in which we live, work, and conduct public businesses. Increasing concerns over costs, resource scarcity, and climate change are driving interest towards improving building energy efficiency. Energy efficiency is an energy source. In this presentation, I examine the benefits of energy efficiency, national and state energy regulatory policies, and ways to realize the potential and forecast growth through 2030 for improving buildings’ energy profiles. Through case studies of national and state programs that have contributed to superior energy management outcome, I will describe the strategies that work for businesses to benefit.
