This paper will present performance data and comparisons from a 32 kW solar and wind based renewable enery system installed at the NASA Johnson Space Center. The system provides a web-based performance and weather data reporting capability. Other topics included will be areas of improvement for building energy efficiency discovered during and after system installation. A discussion on the applicability of the system to space exploration research will be provided as well.
