The effects of Taxol on morphological and micromechanical properties of human endometrial adenocarcinoma (Ishikawa cell), were investigated by atomic force microscopy (AFM). The morphological and mechanical properties of the Ishikawa cell were significantly changed by the Taxol treatment. The cell showed an uneven boundary and holes in the surface. The number and size of the holes were increased as the treating time increases. The cell was softer than the untreated cell and the surface was rougher.
