Investigation of interaction between graphene and steel using Raman Spectroscopy

The purpose of this study is to understand interaction between graphene and sheet steel by the use of Raman Spectroscopy. First of all, the graphene was put on the polished steel. Secondly, it was inspected by Raman Spectroscopy. Then, the interaction between graphene and the steel was investigated by obtaining Raman-shifts in a bending test. It has been suggested that there is a shift of the 2D band to lower wavenumber. These results might enable us to know interfacial shear strength between graphene and the steel.
