The development of the efficient and environmental-friendly reduction method of graphene oxide (GO) in solution is one of challenges. Here we show the environmetally friendly reduction and a solution processability of chemically modified graphene nanoplatelets in alcohol. In-situ synthesis of hydrazine and spontaneous reduction of GO in solution were achieved just by addition of hexametyldisilazane (HMDS) and hydrogen peroxide into GO solution just followed by step-wise heating.
