The randomly oriented carbon nanotubes have exhibited substantially lower electrical and thermal conductivities than anticipated. In this work high density CNS-based BPs have been fabricated successfully using aligned carbon nanostructure and the anionic surfactant NaDDBS. SEM images have shown that the BPs remained aligned even after using the ultrahigh sonicator for long time and strong power. The electrical and mechanical properties have been tested and the results was found to be better than the reported results in literature. In order to densify the BPs the samples were compressed using Instron 5982K9102 machine. The pressing process of the BPs has increased the density of BPs significantly without losing the alignment of the CNS. In addition pressing with different pressures, a BP with density that has not been achieved before and very close to the ultimate density of BP has been obtained. As the density of the BP increases, the mechanical and conductive properties increased significantly. The conductivity and mechanical properties increased non-linearly with density.
