Supercapacitors have recently received great interest from industry and academia as one of energy storage devices due to their high power density, fast charge time, and long cycle life. In this study, hybrid carbon nanofibers have been prepared via electrospinning of polyimide precursor and manganese dioxide mixtures, imidization and final carbonization. The structural features and electrochemical performance of the hybrid carbon nanofibers with different compositions have been investigated as self-standing electrode materials for supercapacitors.
