The flow of heat has been a major challenge to engineers for centuries. A new nanotech material, developed by TAG technologies, can block the flow of heat from one direction only. This presentation will present some of the implications of this new technology for the Clean Tech and wider industry, e.g.: 1. Coatings that keep beverage cans colder longer or cook food in cans much faster to speed production filling lines. 2. Building paints, which lasted longer and reduce the air-conditioning bill by 40 to 50%. 3. Automotive coatings that keep interiors cooler; coatings for engine components that will allow cooler running motors and lower fuel consumption. 4. Coatings for the Power Industry that will improve generation efficiencies, reduce losses through high voltage lines and improve cooling tower performance. 5. Microchips that can run faster and hotter, due to better heat dissipation. This new material can be added to almost any product to control the flow of heat, save energy, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
