Vertically Aligned Carbon Nanotube Arrays assembled on Glassy Carbon electrode

We provide a strategy to vertically arrange single-walled carbon nanotubes on graphite electrode. The strategy is rather convenient and opens a new way to modify the graphite electrode with standing carbon nanotubes, which is criticle because tube ends play a key role in facilitating electron transfer, and standing nanotubes have only been achieved on gold electrode via Au-S bond before. The strategy presented here can be used to deal with graphite electrode in different forms, such as carbon cloth and carbon paper electrode.
