A microscale solar power project was completed to provide electricity to a small, remote village in Uganda. The system electrified 50 homes, one school, and one pharmacy with a very low cost. The success of the project was sufficient to gain attention of the regional and national governments of Uganda and current collaborative efforts are underway with those groups to replicate the project elsewhere in Uganda.
