SWCNT TUBALL as a universal conductive additive in plastics

The development of electro-conductive plastics filled with SWCNTs is demonstrated. A number of different plastics filled with TUBALLTM such as polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS-plastic, polystyrene etc. exhibit electrical resistance in the range of 10^8-10^4 Ω*cm. The observed percolation threshold of TUBALLTM (0.01-0.1 wt.%) seems to be very small in comparison with other commercially available conductive fillers. On the other hand, these plastics filled with TUBALL also demonstrate the improved physico-mechanical properties. The electrical conductivity and improved physico-mechanical characteristics in plastics obtained with significantly small percolation threshold of TUBALL SWCNTs make this additive very promising in plastic industry
