Manganese oxide core-shell nanoparticles are fabricated by inert gas condensation technique. The as deposited samples are found to be amorphous in nature with random distribution of clustered particles. X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and High Resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy (HRTEM) studies on selected areas revealed the existence of a core-shell type structure with the core mainly consisting of MnO which is antiferromagnetic (AFM) and the shell being ferimagnetic(FiM) Mn2O3 and Mn3O4 .
