“In-Situ” Monitoring of CdSe/ZnS Quantum Dot Growth During Microwave Synthesis

The microwave synthesis of CdSe/ZnS quantum dots was observed in real-time using fluorescence spectroscopy for the first time. This technique was used as an efficient way to optimize the temperature and time of the synthesis, leading to higher quantum yields.
