Keywords: centrifugation, single-walled carbon nanotubes
In this paper, the properties of supernatant samples obtained go through steps of acids oxidation and centrifugation is characterized by UV-VIS-NIR spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy. The ultraviolet-visible-near infrared absorption spectra of each sample show the peculiarities associated with electronic structure of the oxidation debris and functionalized SWCNTs. Raman spectroscopy has been used to probe the dispersion and aggregation state of SWCNTs in supernatant solutions, and the effects caused by removal of oxidation debris.
