Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have emerged as a new class of nanomaterials that is receiving considerable interest because of their unique structure and mechanical and electronic properties. One promising application of CNTs involves their use in the construction of chemical sensors and biosensors(1-2). In the present work, highly sensitive amperometric biosensors for glucose, choline, organophosphate pesticides and nerve agents based on self-assembly of enzymes on CNT electrode have been developed.
