EHD (electrohydrodynamics) printing has recently attracted attention for micro/nano size pattern devices due to it can make very small droplet than nozzle diameter and possibility of the use of various ink such as including metal, organic and bio material and high viscosity ink. EHD printing technology for use in industrial applications requires a high speed printing technology based on array-nozzle. Lee et al. have been proposing and developing an electrostatic drop-on-demand print head and designing a novel array nozzle EHD print head. This paper introduces a novel array nozzle EHD print head that features the control electrodes, additionally to the conventional structure of EHD print heads, for electrostatic ejection and screening. This paper also demonstrates successful drop-on-demand ejection using the fabricated novel array nozzle EHD print head.
