Recent advances in purification, dissolution and dispersion technologies of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have provided opportunities for the development of various CNT gas sensors[1-2]. Here, we suggest an alcohol vapor sensor using single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT)-composites on flexible PES (polyether-sulfone) substrate where the SWCNT-composites are deposited by cost-effective and scalable spray method. Alcohol sensors have currently extended their application areas for the use of various purposes such as bio-sensing and detection of VOCs (volatile organic compounds), but they have been most commercially used as devices for breath alcohol testing. In this work, alcohol vapor sensors were fabricated and their electrical properties were measured and discussed.
